How can partial names or email addresses be found when using the "Person Search" dialogue during a message search?

Cause
The "Person Search" dialogue allows searching for the beginning of any email address or name but no mention is made that wildcards can also be used.

Resolution
If a search can be made using either the '*' or '%' characters to match any string.
Example:
The following search parameters will all find a person name "John Smith" with an email address of john.smith@domain.com
john*smith
*smith
*ith@domain.com
*@domain.comWhen searching for a name that includes a space such as "FORENAME SURNAME" use a wildcard character between the forename and the surname as follows:
FORENAME*SURNAME
Use of a space character will result in a failed search.
