A user's mailbox is not being updated by Archive Manager and you see the following Entry in the Application Event Logs:

System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: MailBox Record failed to update, it may have been updated by another user.
at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommand.ExecuteReader(CommandBehavior cmdBehavior, RunBehavior runBehavior, Boolean returnStream)

For SQL 2000:

1. In services.msc restart the MSSQLSERVER Service.

For SQL 2005:

1. In services.msc restart the SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER) Service.
