Archived Email printed from Outlook displays or prints xml code in the printout/preview
Description
When trying to print an archived email opened in a separate window in Outlook , xml code is displayed and printed. Same archived email when opened or printed from the main Outlook menu does not show xml code.
Resolution
WORKAROUND
Resolution 1:
Right click the archived message | Click Quick Print to print the archived email.
Resolution 2:
In the Developer tab, click Design a Form. Please note the Developer't tab will be hidden by default.
Select the AfterMail form to open it for editing.
Choose Page / Edit Read Page.
Left-Click in the middle of the Body field.
Press TAB to advance to the first user-defined field, which is occluded by other fields.
Choose Property Sheet. This displays the properties for that field.
Go to the Validation tab.
Uncheck “Include this field for Printing and Save As”.
Click OK to save the change.
Press TAB to advance to the next user-defined field.
Repeat this process to update all five user-defined fields.
Choose Publish / Publish Form to publish the updated form.
Close the form.
When asked whether to save changes, say “No”, since you have already published the changes.
