The PST Import Wizard no longer ships with the Archive Manager as of version 5.1 as this functionality, and much more, is now available in Recovery Manager for Exchange.
Recovery Manager for Exchange is a separate Quest product which is provided at no extra cost to all Archive Manager customers with a current maintenance agreement.
Archive Manager customers can go to the Product Swap site to learn more about this program.
The Recovery Manager for Exchange User Guide explains the difference between the Full license and the Archive Manager license (see page 186).
This video explains how to use Recovery Manager for Exchange to import items into Archive Manager.
High Level flow:
1 - Go to the Product Swap site and expand Windows and choose ‘Archive Manager Per Managed Mailbox to Archive Manager for Email Discovery Recovery Per Managed Mail’
2 – Read and understand the Description and Conditions and choose the appropriate check boxes and then click Submit
3 - Download Recovery Manager for Exchange
4 - Provision a machine for Recovery Manager for Exchange (this cannot be the Archive Manager server) based on the prerequisites in the Release Notes which comes with the software
5 – You will receive your license file via email which will allow you to go ahead with the install. It can take a few days to receive your license file so if you may wish to reach out to your Sales Rep to expedite this.
