Archive Manager attempts to connect to Centera but is unable to and the following error is seen in the Event Viewer logs: "_fppool is null"
These additional errors are also seen:
"unable to authenticate to Centera, FPpool"
"error communicating with Centera"
The PEA file that is specified in the dbo.StorageLocation table in the ArchiveManager database is no longer valid. Contact the EMC Centera administrator and have them generate a new PEA file and have it tested as well.
Place this PEA file on the Archive Manager server (and all other servers that may require it such as additional web servers) and validate that the path to this file in the dbo.StorageLocation table is correct. Restart all Archive Manager services.
