Below is from our release notes, (please note that there is no mention of any CU's for any of the versions), we generally make note of an issue when there is one, however there have been no reports as far as I can see from any customers concerning a problem with SQL 2017 CU13. However it is always best to make backups and follow Microsoft best practices whenever a database upgrade is involved.
