The size of a message in Outlook may differ from the size showing on the Archive Manager Website due to embedded attachments.
The message size when viewed on the Archive Manager website includes the size of the message along with any attachments. Embedded attachments are not counted in the message size since and will be displayed when the message is opened. Embedded attachments includes any files or text that have not been natively typed in a message, this includes copying and pasting text or images from a spreadsheet or document. Outlook will display the total message size including any embedded attachments.
