Explanation of the Minimum threshold and Maximum threshold details for the Message Index and Atta (4224130)

In the Index Dashboard section of the Administration webpage of Archive Manager, there are two tabs called Message Index and Attachment Index respectively. On both of these tabs there is another tab entitled Details, which indicate what item type is in the index set, what percentage of the index is searchable, the minimum threshold of that index set, the maximum threshold of that index set and the status of the index set.

There is often confusion on what the Minimum Threshold and the Maximum Threshold details actually mean.

The Minimum Threshold is the date of the oldest item in that Index set that is searchable based on the received date of that item

The Maximum Threshold is the date of the newest item in that Index set that is searchable based on the recieved date of that item
