How to: Grant Groups Access to Shared Mailboxes (4217003)

Trying to grant a group of Users access to a mailbox.
Each day, a new group is created and the old group has all the Users removed

"Directory Connector Import Mailbox Permissions"

The Active Directory connector is making this change as the change  doesn't match what is in Active Directory and could be considered a security risk.

Resolution:

Grant the permissions correct in AD and tell Archive Manager to import these permissions

1. Make sure that AD group has Full Control over the Mailbox in AD
2. Open Configuration Editor
3. Add the entry "Directory Connector Import Mailbox Permissions"
4. Set this to True
5. Save changes.
6. Restart the Directory Connector and wait whilst this updates (Can take a while)

Each user that has full mailbox access permissions in Active Directory should now be assigned access to the relevant mailbox in Archive Manager.
