Resolution
To find the location of the Full Text share on the Archive Manager please do the following steps below:
1. Open the Archive Manager Configuration Editor.
2. Make note of the Full Text Index Temp Path i.e. \\servernameshare name. Default path is \\servernameArchiveManagerFullTextIndex
3. Make note of the path for the Full Text Index location e.g. - C:\Quest Software\ArchiveManager\ FullText
4. By default, the Full Text share will be found in the C:\Quest Software\ArchiveManager directory using this example. Browse to this location in Windows.
5. Right click on the folder and choose properties.
6. Click on the Sharing tab.
7. Under ‘Advanced Sharing’, click ‘Advanced Sharing’ button.
8. Verify that the 'Share Name' was ArchiveManagerFullTextIndex.
9. Click Ok.
7. Click the 'Share..’ button.
9. Click the Permission button and give the group Everyone - Full Control. Click OK.
10. Click the 'Security' tab.
11. Remove the ‘Local Administrators Group’ & 'Archive Manager Service Users Group'
12. Click ‘Apply’ and ‘Close’
13. Once done, re-added back again the ‘Local Administrators Group’ & 'Archive Manager Service Users Group'.
14. Click ‘Apply’ and then ‘Close’.
15. Restart both the Archive Manager Full Text Index service and the Archive Manager Full Text Search Service.
16. Perform an IISRESET.
15. Close your browser window and re-open it. Access the Archive Manager web site and try your seach again.
