Dataloader cannot process XML files, export folder is filling up with a lot of them. -
Description
Dataloader service cannot process XML files, and the export folder is filling up with a lot of XML files. Also, when the Dataloader is restarted the service doesn't stop quickly. -
Cause
SQL Blocks found in the AM Database due to many transactions. -
Resolution
1. Download the FindBlockSPID and SQL Blocks Kill.sql script attached to the KB.
2. In the SQL Server open SQL Management Studio to load the SQL script
3. Run the FindBlockSPID.sql script.
4. Run SQL Blocks Kill.sql
5. Restart the ArchiveManager Data Load Service and check the Export folder activity
