PostProcessing TEMP folder growing; folders being left over and not deleted
Description

The PostProcessing TEMP folder is filling up with leftover folders from the indexing process; post processing log files show ThreadAbortException errors with the folder names and contents saying "the thread was aborted".
Cause

Post processing service is taking too long to process specific files/folders and the default postprocessing time of 30 seconds (30000ms) is not enough.
Resolution

You can increase server resources (more RAM, faster CPU, faster I/O) to allow the server to process these files faster, which is not always possible or practical.
You may also increase the Maximum Document Processing Time in General settings in Post Processing configuration. (you can try to set it to 120000ms or more).
This may allow the server more time to index the documents properly, though this may indicate you need to increase server resources eventually.
