WORKAROUND:
Ensure to select "Mount writable" when mounting.
run a chkdsk /f /r on the mounted recovery point to try to recover it.
Exit from the mount point from windows explorer.
copy the path of the mounted recovery point to include the volume drive letter and the underlines. ex. G__
open an administrator command prompt
run the following command:
chkdsk /f /r "<path_of_mounted_volume>"
example: chkdsk /f /r "C:\ProgramData\AppRecovery\MountPoints\10.23.3.33-20141028-150005\C__"
when the chkdsk is finished do not dismount or the possible fix will be lost.
try browsing the recovery point and copy the file needed to the core desktop.
Highly suggested to take a new base image of the agent that experienced this issue and test recover the volumes. If a problem still exists, investigate on the agent volumes with a chkdsk.
