Changing the AppAssure 5.4 Replication Port -
Description
The default port for AppAssure replication is 8006, however it may be required to change this configuration setting after installation. For example, if a third party software solution is configured to use the same port.
To prevent any potential interference between the two solutions AppAsure can be configured to run through a different port -
Resolution
Complete the following steps to change the Port number for the Core service / Replication.
1. Suspend replication from your Source Core.
2. From the Core GUI choose Configuration | Settings | General | Change
3. Set the service port to the desired port value (see illustration below)
4. Complete the above steps on source & target cores, as appropriate
5. Update the port number to the number defined in step 3 (see illustration below)
6. Resume replication
