Event and Alert Data is Temporarily Unavailable (4034355)

No events are displayed in your Core UI and the MongoDB is not reporting properly. The error displays:

Event/Alert data temporarily unavailable due to loss of connectivity with CoreService and the MongoDB Service. Please verify your connection settings and restart the service if needed.

1. Stop the Core Service.
2. Navigate to the following directory: C:\ProgramData\AppRecovery\EventsDatabase\AppAssure
3. Rename all files with the appendage “.old” or, if you do not have enough disk space, delete the files.
4. Navigate to the following directory: C:\ProgramFiles\AppRecovery\Core\CoreService
5. Rename and remove the MongoDB.Driver.dll from the directory and place it on your desktop.
6. Repair the Core installation.
7. Restart the Core Service.

1. Stop the Core and MongoDB services
2. Delete mongod.lock file (C:\ProgramData\AppRecovery\EventsDatabase).
3. Run cmd from the C:\Program Files\AppRecovery\Core\CoreService\MongoDB
4. Enter the command mongod.exe -repair –dbpath  C:\ProgramData\AppRecovery\EventsDatabase\AppAssure  (NOTE: there are two single dashes with no spaces in front of  ”dbpath”)
5. Start the Core and MongoDB Services.
