To resolve this issue,
Remote to the agent machine
1. Open the Services by typing "Services.msc" at the Run command
2. Locate the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) service and restart it
On the Core Console:
1. For the agent, click on the Summary tab
2. Click on "Refresh Metadata" under the Actions drop-down menu
Now the Exchange metadata information should appear at the bottom of this tab, and the Exchange settings will appear on the Summary page so that the Exchange log truncation and checksum checks can be enabled to occur automatically during the nightly jobs
3. Next, force a snapshot for this agent
4. Once the backup is created (and going forward), in the Recovery Points tab, the Recovery Points will display a "Check" (box) allowing for the Exchange log truncation and checksum checks to be forced manually
If the situation has not changed, then you may try the next troubleshooting step:
1. Remove this agent from Protection (while keeping all existing recovery points)
2. Re-protect this machine
