How to manually delete old Archives
Description

When times comes to delete old data and for any reason the UI does not have any visible archives we have to follow the next steps.
Cause

This could be related to the following reasons:

1. Error during the creation of the archives.

2. A change in the configuration that was not applied to the configuration of the UI.
Resolution

How to manually delete old Archives?

Steps to properly drop old archives

- Navigate to ApexSQL Audit options -> Reporting

- Click the X next to the archive and click ok

- Drop the database from SQL server

Note: Failure to disconnect the data source in this manner could cause multiple issues with report generation.
