Error during object creation in the Active Roles Web Interface: “The ‘attribute’ property value does not conform to corporate policy” (4339186)

When creating an object using a custom form in the Active Roles Web Interface, the following error message is encountered:

The ‘attribute’ property value does not conform to corporate policy

The specified attribute is not present on the custom Web Interface form, but is specified in a policy which should be generating a value.

There is no error when creating an object in the Active Roles Console.

This is expected functionality and is a security feature.

In order to shape any attribute value in the Active Roles Web Interface, the attribute needs to be exposed on the form, even if only as a read-only field.

Log into the Active Roles Web Interface as an Active Roles Admin and customize the form to include the attribute which is being shaped by the policy.
