After upgrading to AA 8.9, alert template time doesn't quite come out as expected.
The alert email that gets sent out has the title with local time however the identified event is in UTC.
In checking the email configuration in Settings, things look like they should be appearing in local time both in the markdown text.
This is expected behaviour. There were some issues in previous versions of Active Administrator when converting the times especially in situations where the Active Administrator services, agents, and consoles could all be in different timezones. As such the decision was made to always present the events in UTC so that users anywhere could communicate about the event times using a standard time. Times controlled by Active Administrator such as when the event was recorded and entered into the database will be converted to local time, the specific details of the event will not.
