When trying to activate a new archive database the following error occurs: An error occurred while attempting to updated the archive settings. One or more errors occurred. Object reference not set to an instance of an object (4315998)

Created a new archive database within the Active Administrator console. When attempting to make it the active archive database, the following error occurs:
