DFRS Unresponsive Alert does not clear -
Description
The DFSR unresponsive alert seems to show up randomly and clear at random times.DFS replication is working without issues when observed. -
Cause
This is happening due to a WMI timeout when checking the DFSR status, not an issue with the DFSR being unresponsive.
If it takes over 20 seconds for WMI to respond, this alert is created. -
Resolution
STATUS
Enhancement request number VSTS000340882 has been submitted to Development for consideration in a future release of Active Administrator.
This enhancement will change the underlying behavior of this alert to return specific DFSR status codes only, and detach its functionality from WMI responsiveness. -
