Description
Backup failed with warning regarding not finding the (PDC) Primary Domain Controller: operations error. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND 1
Close the Active Administrator console.
Restart the Active Administrator Foundation Service.
If issue persists, follow the steps under Workaround 2.WORKAROUND 2
- Launch the Active Administrator console
- Expand "Configuration".
- Select "Recovery settings".
- Select the Domain name and click Edit.
- Select the option "Use the domain controller specified here".
- Select the domain controller that holds the PDC role and click OK.
- Click "Save".
Note:
To locate the domain controller that holds the PDC role, run the following command from the DOS command prompt:
Netdom query fsmo
