Deploying x64 machine using instant Provisioning generates error: "Linked clone failed"
Description

When attempting to deploy a x64 machine on VMware using instant provisioning, it may fail with SysprepDataParser error: "Linked clone failed: CloneVmLinked: sysprep parser or find machine account failed!"
Cause

Issue has been traced to the missing unattend.xml entry.
Resolution

Please modify the unattend.xml file while deploying new machines through the vWorkspace Management console and add the following entry:

xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
