When using USB redirection to redirect a Webcam to a VDI, the integrated Microphone isn't detected
As the microphone is integrated with the Webcam, it has also been redirected to the VDI. However, in order for it to work you need to make sure the audio is performed on the remote computer
Workaround
1. In AppPortal, click Actions | Manage Connections | Local Resources
2. On the Remote Audio section, select "Leave at Remote Computer"
This option allows the Microphone to work. However ,as the sound output will be left at the remote computer, you will also need USB headphones/speakers in order to hear any sound with this setup.
