We are excited to announce a new release of Foglight for Azure SQL 6.1.5.

Look what's new :

  • Elastic Pool Monitoring.  Support for monitoring Azure SQL DB Elastic Pools, including visibility of databases in a pool, a new pool overview dashboard and new related alarms.  This enhancement complements the Elastic Pool Database monitoring already built into the Foglight Azure SQL cartridge.
  • User Level Access. Support User Level Access to indicate for specific users or groups which Azure SQL connections, database and Elastic Pools they should be able to view within Foglight.
  • New CLI.  New CLI for an additional method of adding one or many Foglight Azure SQL Database agents quickly using file input.

We are also pleased to announce a new component for Foglight - Foglight for Redis 6.1.1.

Look what's new :

  • Redis monitoring. With Foglight® for Redis, DBAs can quickly and easily detect, diagnose and resolve performance issues on Redis Enterprise clusters, nodes and databases.
  • Performance and availability alarms. Intuitive web-based dashboards alert you to emerging issues that might affect performance or availability. 
  • Global view of your Redis environment. A clear enterprise-wide view helps you optimize your entire physical, virtual and cloud-based Redis Enterprise environment.
