The following error is shown during a Meeting Link Migration:
Calendar does not support Teams Online meetings provider. Mailbox XXX@XXX.com Calendar name: Calendar
The problem occurs when the target mailbox has been marked as inactive.
We recommend every customer run the following PowerShell command before the Teams Meeting Link Migration to ensure that the property exists on the target mailbox.
Get-EventsFromEmailConfiguration | Select DefaultOnlineMeetingProvider, AllowedOnlineMeetingProviders
The above command deprecated, this is the new command
Get-MailboxCalendarConfiguration -Identity "mailbox" | select DefaultOnlineMeetingProvider, AllowedOnlineMeetingProviders
The expected value needs to be: TeamsForBusiness
If the value is “blank” or “unknown”, we recommend sending an email to the target mailbox at least 24 hours before you plan to run the Teams Meeting Link Migration task. The Microsoft backend service will periodically check and mark the mailbox as active, enabling the target mailbox to generate a team meeting link.
