Resolved issues

The following is a list of issues addressed in this release.

Table 2. General resolved issues

Resolved Issue

Issue ID

Unable to handle accounts that contain apostrophe character (').

32736

NetSPI: Weak Cryptography - Weak Initialization Vector: The encrypt/decrypt functions that use this key have been marked as obsolete. However, this code has been left in place to enable customers using product version 20.10.1.4 and below to upgrade to later versions. After upgrade, items encrypted with the obsolete function will automatically be recalculated and stored with the new secure functions that replaced this. (35119)

35119

NetSPI: Password Management: Password in Comment.

35120

NetSPI: Microsoft ASP.NET Debugging Enabled.

35121

NetSPI: Password Management - Hardcoded Passwords.

35122

NetSPI: Resource Injection: This function intentionally generates a connection string from user supplied information.

35123

NetSPI: Insufficient Logging: In each of these instances occasional exceptions are expected and the calling code deals with default return values. Logging is not necessary and can be disruptive for the end user.

35124

Directory Sync incorrectly checks for license when running under simulation mode.

36487

When a source object's Match attribute is only whitespace, Directory Sync Pro generates an invalid LDAP filter.

37555

Chinese characters in the user principal name carry over as question marks (???) to the target.

41329

Password sync fails for objects with non-English characters in the sAMAccountName.

41574

Installations and upgrades fail when FIPS is enabled.

42800

Service throws a NullReference exception when a license is not installed and sync is started.
