Description
When the license is purchased, an email notification is sent to the purchaser that contains all the needed information for activation. The license/product key is not included. -
Cause
Quest has enabled its customers to directly manage their licenses as they see fit. The license management can be directly accessed through the dedicated web portal. The product key is no longer required.

Resolution
The upgrade from the legacy licensing model to the subscription based licensing model will be introduced gradually. Once an application is migrated to a subscription licensing based model, it will no longer support legacy activation.
