The GPO check-in and discard returns access denied for a non-domain admin user account even though the account was delegated permissions within (GPMC) Group Policy Management Console and the (AA) Active Administrator Console role based access.

Cause
Insufficient permissions.

Resolution
Verify the logged on user account and the Active Administrator Foundation Service (AFS) account have sufficient privileges. GPO user privilege requirements.
