Title
Error: "Error 1904. Module C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Benchmark Factory for Databases\bin\BFDurationCtrl.ocx failed to register"
Problem Description
While installing Benchmark Factory the following error occurs:
"Error 1904. Module C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Benchmark Factory for Databases\bin\BFDurationCtrl.ocx failed to register"

Cause
Installation on Windows 7
Resolution
Windows 7 is currently not supported.
It will be supported with Benchmark Factory 6.1 which will be released end of Q4 2009/beginning Q1 2010.
As a workaround you can use the XP virtual machine mode for running old software on Windows 7.
