Title
Problem Description
Directory Synchronization Agent Controller Service may crash with the Access Violation error when synchronizing or migrating source objects whose SACLs contain custom Auditing permissions, or the custom permissions may not be assigned correctly to the target object.
Resolution
Please download the Hotfix called, Migration Manager 8.4 Hotfix (Update20091030) for solution SOL58526 from: https://support.quest.com/SUPPORT/index?page=downloadsentitlement&file=2878272
Install update on all computers where Directory Synchronization Agent is installed. To install the update, complete the following steps:
- Stop all synchronization, migration and delegated migration jobs.
- Close Quest Migration Manager console, if it is running on computer where DSA is installed.
- Unpack the update package to any folder.
- Run the QuestMigrationManager8.4Update20091030.exe file.
- Complete the update installation wizard.
